  • Premium aluminum oxide mineral is durable, and cuts fast on many materials
  • Strong, C-weight paper backing supports all sanding applications with extra durability compared to lighter weight paper backings
  • Open coat construction and load-resistant coating prevent premature loading of the disc surface to maximize cut and extend abrasive life
  • 3M™ Hookit™ sheets are easy to change and reuse, maximizing sanding utility for the life of the sheet

3M™ Hookit™ Paper Sheet Roll 236U features sheets on a versatile roll with a convenient hook and loop backing ready for quick and easy attachment to a 3M™ Hookit™ backup pad (sold separately). The sheet roll features a strong, C-weight paper backing that resists wear during sanding.

The 3M™ Hookit™ attachment system makes sheet changes fast and easy, meaning that you can use the sheet again and again for the extent of the abrasive life. The strong, C weight paper backing on our 3M™ Hookit™ Paper Sheet Roll 236U supports all sanding applications and minimizes edge wear. 3M™ Hookit™ Paper Sheet Roll 236U is excellent for blending and finishing on aluminum and carbon steel, as well as woodworking applications for heavy and medium stock removal and finishing on hardwoods, softwoods, and composites. They also work well on primer, paint, sealers, topcoats, fiberglass, and plastics. An open coat means the abrasive grains have space between them so that dust escapes through the spaces rather than loading the cutting edge of the grains. The load resistant coating allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding softwoods, paints, and other materials that would, otherwise, clog the disc and hinder sanding ability. The 3M™ Hookit™ attachment system uses a hook and loop design that makes disc changes fast and easy. All of this adds up to improved productivity and reduced material consumption.
