3M™ Prevena™ Peel and Place Dressings are an integrated one-piece dressing designed to be simple and easy to place. Simply peel off the dressing release liner, place the dressing over the closed incision and press down on the dressing to gain a good seal.
3M™ Prevena™ Peel and Place Dressings are integrated one-piece dressings designed to manage closed surgical incisions for up to 7 days with no dressing changes required. Under 125mmHg of negative pressure the foam bolster collapses to its geometric centre. This brings the incision edges together1, reduces lateral tension,1 and also allows for improved fluid management.2 The Prevena Peel and Place Dressings also contain a skin friendly interface layer containing 0.0019% ionic silver, which helps to wick fluid away from the surface and to reduce bacterial colonisation of the fabric.
