3M™ Aluminium Foil Label Material 7940 is a durable, thin gauge aluminium designed to meet a wide range of difficult nameplate application requirements. 3M™ Aluminium Foil Label Material 7940 utilizes 3M™Adhesive 320 which offers excellent adhesion to a variety of surfaces including high surface energy (HSE) and low surface energy (LSE) plastics.
3M™ Aluminium Foil Label Material 7940 is characterized by high temperature and weather resistance. The low resilience of the material also allows bonding on formed parts. The modified acrylate adhesive of the 300 series ensures good adhesion even on difficult and low-energy substrates such as polyethylene and polypropylene allows. These foils can easily be written on with a typewriter.
