3M™ Scotchlok™ Electrical IDC 562, Double Run or Tap, Flame Retardant, connector electrically connect a 3.0 mm² to 4.0 mm² wire (tap) end to a through (run) wire and insulates the connection. Our connector has a unique ‘U’ contact that provides a quick and dependable electrical connection.

Get a quick, dependable and insulated electrical connection with 3M™ Scotchlok™ Electrical IDC 562, Double Run or Tap, Flame Retardant. This connector electrically connects a 3.0 mm² to 4.0 mm² wire (tap) end to a through (run) wire and insulates the connection. A live spring joint is made by driving the U contact down into the connector. As the U contact is pressed into the connector, it grasps the conductors as it displaces insulation. The unique ‘U’ contact provides a quick and dependable electrical connection. 3M Scotchlok wire connectors offer a quick, reliable connection with a simple snap and a squeeze – no stripping or twisting.
