Scotch-Brite™ EXL-XP Deburring Wheel is engineered to provide superior durability and edge retention for tackling tough burrs and sharp edges on all types of metals, composites and glass. Our wheels use new technology that retain conformability and offer a high cut rate with smooth running over the life of the wheel.

Get a high cut rate and smooth running over the life of Scotch-Brite™ EXL-XP Deburring Wheel. Our wheels are the hardest, longest-lasting wheels in the EXL line, engineered with superior durability and edge retention for tackling tough burrs and sharp edges on all types of metals, composites and glass. They’re made with a unique resin system and convolute construction that allows the wheel to run true and consistent while keeping fresh mineral exposed to do the work. Wheel hardness, edge retention, and consistent cut combine to help resist ‘chunking’ so the wheel continues to run true. Smooth running and fast cutting reduce operator fatigue while wheel hardness and exposed mineral deliver long life and consistent finishing. Our Deburring Wheels are filled with fine silicon carbide abrasive mineral. Silicon carbide is a synthetic mineral that is very sharp and commonly used for low-pressure applications such as paint preparation. While it breaks down faster than aluminium oxide, it produces a superior finish. Scotch-Brite is a unique surface conditioning product with abrasives incorporated into non-woven nylon fibres. Combining abrasives with the fibres creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results for the life of the product. We chose an open-web material that is load resistant and keeps the abrasive minerals cutting at high performance by limiting clogging of the nylon fibres.
