3M™ Nextel™ Sewing Thread 440 is a machine sewable thread comprised of 440 Grade rovings and rayon serving which enhances sewability. Nextel™ Sewing Thread 440 is designed to withstand continuous use temperatures of up to 2372oF (1300oC). Ideal for sewing Nextel™fabric in high temperature insulation applications. Available heat cleaned and sized.

3M™ Nextel™ Sewing Thread 440, Style BT-30 is a high-temperature machine sewable thread made from strong, continuous alumina-boria-silica fibers (about 90%) and rayon (about 10%), which is added for resiliency, abrasion resistance, and improved sewability. For use with 3M™ Nextel™ Fabrics.
