3M™ Pressure Sensitive Acrylic Foam Tape 5345 is a 0.76 mm (0.030 in) thick, Grey, double-coated acrylic foam tape used in a variety of automotive applications.
The key feature of 3M AFT 5345 is AR-7 adhesive on both sides of the product. AR-7 offers a high level of adhesion to both the automotive paint system and the exterior trim part. The acrylic foam core has unique viscoelastic properties that allow it to elongate and relax when put under load, there by minimizing stress on the adhesive bond line. Since product performance will depend on actual conditions within a specific application, it is essential that the user evaluate the 3M product to determine whether it is fit for a particular material purpose and suitable for the users method of application.
