3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape 5670 is a 0.8 mm thick, dark grey acrylic adhesive tape for attachment of add-on-parts such as trims and emblems/inserts on low energy surfaces without pre-treatment (Primer/ flame treatment).
3M Acrylic Foam Tape 5428 demonstrates a very good adhesion to many automotive surfaces, good inner strength, excellent long term stability as well as a very good conformability. In combination with primer the tape achieves a good plasticiser resistance and assures a good adhesion to elastomeric add-on-parts. Given by the unique viscoelastic property of the 5428, stress is relaxed in the adhesive bond line so that durable bonds are formed.
