Our 3M™ Hot Melt Adhesive 3789 is a polyamide adhesive formulated to produce an impact-, fuel- and oil-resistant bond on plastics, vinyl, wood and other surfaces. We manufacture this strong adhesive product using a 100% solids, thermoplastic resin. This hot melt also offers good heat resistance (220°F/104°C) and an open bond time that allows for fit adjustment and positioning.

Use exceptional thermoplastic 3M™ Hot Melt Adhesive 3779 for a tough and durable bond in many applications. Our adhesive is ideal for many surfaces, including vinyl, wood and plastics. It’s engineered with 100% solids thermoplastic resin and designed to re-melt after bonding if exposed to high enough temperatures. It’s virtually invisible between surfaces and so a better alternative to mechanical fasteners and sealing tapes. Our hot melt adhesive is tough, flexible and has high temperature resistance and resilience to fuel, oil and impact. Its open bond time allows plenty of time for adjustments.
