3M™ Hookit™ Film Disc 375L delivers outstanding tear resistance, flexibility, and a consistent, uniform finish on a variety of substrates. Premium aluminum oxide abrasive grain offers a fast cut-rate and extended product life for greater productivity.

For a consistent, uniform finish on a variety of substrates in a wide range of applications, use 3M™ Hookit™ Film Disc 375L. Our discs come in a range of grades for various applications, from rough sanding to very fine finishing. They are designed for use with a random orbital sander and 3M Hookit backup pad*. Durable and flexible, our discs feature premium aluminium oxide, which delivers a fast cut rate and makes the disc last longer. They offer the tear resistance needed when using coarse grades in high production metalworking applications, particularly where there is concern of edge wear. Aluminium oxide is the preferred choice among industrial professionals for its fast cut-rate and long life. It’s a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures during use to expose fresh cutting edges and a consistent sharp cut. Traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly, in comparison. The fast cut-rate, hardness and strength of aluminium oxide makes it a popular choice in grinding, sanding and finishing applications and it’s suitable for use on a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys. To achieve a superior wood finish, use our 375L film disc in medium grade. They conform well to the contours and rounded edges of challenging work surfaces, to deliver a superior finish. Their load resistant coating and open coat construction reduces clogging and extends the life of the abrasive. For before and after paint finishing, our 375L film disc in fine grades offers the versatility needed for a superb uniform finish on plastics and clear coat technologies commonly used in the transport industry. Our discs with hook-and-loop feature are ideal for work spaces where adhesive backed discs may become contaminated by dust, dirt, or flying debris. Use them in applications where a 3M Stikit™ disc may be too aggressive, for a finer finish than with adhesive backed discs. They conveniently and firmly attach to a hook-and-loop backup disc pad* on a random orbital sander, can be removed cleanly and easily, and repeatedly re-used for the extent of the abrasive life. For optimal performance, pair our Hookit discs with a 3M Hookit disc pad. They have excellent tear-resistance and provide a very uniform finish and consistent results with each use. They’re an excellent choice for paint, e-coats, primers, gel coats, glass, acrylics and solid surface material, wood topcoats, and any application that demands a perfect finish. *Sold separately
