Unsure on what pattern to create? Keep things simple and use masking tapes to be the pattern.
To get super crisp paint lines around a feature pattern use ScotchBlue™ Sharp Lines Masking Tape. If you're painting a pattern on a recently painted wall or on top of wallpaper make sure you use a sensitive masking tape like Scotch® Delicate Surface Masking Tape.
Here is a list of our recommended tools to get you started:
Paint the surface with your base colour. The spaces you tape will remain this colour. Then wait at least 24 hours for the paint to dry.
Now tape your painted surface with lines, stripes, zigzags, etc. Get creative and go free-form. Be sure to press the tape down firmly to get the best finished result.
Paint over your taped design. Two light coats of paint are better than one thick coat.
