    car park

    It's iconic. It's a statement. And yes, it's a car park.

In Kansas City, Missouri, this 'community bookshelf' stops traffic and draws tourists from around the world.

Each of the 22 book spines on the Kansas City Central Library's parking structure was named by community members who nominated their favourite literary classics and everything and anything about Kansas City.

    Books larger than life

Each of the images is printed on 3M Film with Comply Adhesive. It's used to wrap entire cars and buildings – and even car parks. The National Building Museum in Washington DC has even included this Kansas City bookshelf in an exhibit, sharing further the community's love for literature and imagination.
